Chinese Bridge Summer Camp

The Confucius Institute at NC State is proud to offer the Chinese Bridge Summer Camp for American high school students. This two-week program is structured to enhance understanding between American and Chinese high school students.  This year's summer camp dates are July 10 through July 25.  Visit the Confucius Institute web site for more details.



Summer 2013 Chinese Language Courses

The Confucius Institute at NC State is offering non-credit Chinese classes this summer in Conversational Chinese and Chinese Characters (Hanzi).  Visit the Confucius Institute web site for more details.



Summer 2013 Japanese Language Courses

The NC Japan Center is offering Japanese language classes for children and adults.  Pr-registration is now open.  Visit the Japan Center web site for more details.



Volunteer Opportunity

The Intensive English Program (IEP) is seeking volunteers to host a student in their home for a meal during the Fall 2013 semester.  This is an opportunity for students to practice English and learn more about the American culture.  Interested volunteers should contact Katy Bishop at kmbishop@ncsu.edu for an application.



ICLP Applications Available for Fall 2013

The Global Training Initiative's (GTI) International Cultural Leadership Project (ICLP) is now accepting applications for Fall 2013.  The ICLP connects NC State students to international students from the SKEMA Business School in France as well as students from GTI partner schools in Brazil, China, and Taiwan. NC State student volunteers play an important and fun role in helping new and visiting international students integrate into the Wolfpack community.  The application deadline is September 6, 2013.  Visit GTI's ICLP web site for details.
