Host a German scholar

Canadian and U.S. colleges and universities are invited to apply for shared financial support to invite German academics in all fields, notably university faculty, to teach for a period of one to six months at the host institution. This program is designed to help fill a curricular gap or to act as a stimulus for teaching and research in the department concerned.  Host institutions must provide a $2200 stipend per month  as well as office facilities with equipment and assistance with housing. DAAD helps to defray living expenses and other costs for the lecturer.
