Estimated IEP Costs for Fall 2013
Fees ($4,960) must be paid no later than two weeks after orientation (8/30/2013). This applies to the first semester only; following semesters must be paid before the semester begins. Paying the fees on time is very important and if you do not pay on time, you may be dropped from the program. All fees below are subject to change without notice. All estimates may be higher or lower depending on each student's lifestyle.

Health Insurance Coverage
North Carolina State University students who are enrolled in classes through the IEP are required to maintain health and medical insurance throughout their program. This insurance may be purchased abroad or in the United States, but it must meet the coverage types and minimum amounts described below. Click here for a list of medical insurance companies that you might consider. Please remember that you are required to show proof of medical insurance coverage at orientation on August 16, 2013.
• $50,000 minimum per accident or illness
• $500 maximum deductible per illness
• $10,000 provision for medical evacuation
• $7,500 maximum for repatriation
Refund Policy
If you are in the United States on an F-1 student visa, you must be a full-time student to keep your legal status with immigration. After registration, if a student withdraws from the IEP for any reason, the student is eligible for a partial fee refund according to the schedule below:
